Hello, I’m Haoqi.

I am a visual storyteller and illustrator currently pursuing my BFA at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. My work lives at the intersection of digital precision and traditional texture, where I explore the boundless possibilities of narrative through illustration, comics, and motion.

My creative philosophy is rooted in the fine details of nature and the vibrant collisions of cross-cultural experiences. Whether I am sketching in a gallery at the Met or crafting a digital world in Procreate, I strive to bridge imagination and reality. For me, illustration is more than just an image—it is a vessel for emotion and a gateway to a story.

With a background that spans from classical training at the Beijing Children’s Palace to experimental animation at RISD Pre-College, I bring a versatile toolkit to every project. I am always looking for new stories to tell and new visual languages to speak.
